Larboard Naval Studio · Yachts
Design & Innovation
Exterior styling for sailing and motor yachts from 30 to 130 metres — from first sketch to launch day.
A profile should be recognisable from a mile away
Every Larboard exterior starts with the owner's idea of life at sea and ends with a yacht that belongs to no one else. We draw the lines, model every surface in 3D and stay with the project through engineering and the shipyard build.
Concept & styling
Hand sketches, full 3D exterior modelling, deck layouts and general arrangement plans developed around the way you actually cruise.
Engineering liaison
We work shoulder to shoulder with the naval architect on hull lines, weight, glass areas and technical spaces — beauty that can be built.
Build supervision
Fairing reviews, mock-ups, colour and material sign-off at the yard. Our designers walk the decks until delivery, not just until the render.

How we work
From sketch to splash
Phase 01
Brief & research
We listen first: cruising grounds, guests, crew, taste. Then we study what the market has never tried.
Phase 02
Concept design
Sketches, 3D massing and deck options. Three directions, narrowed to the one that feels inevitable.
Phase 03
Development
Detailed styling with the naval architect and engineers — every line survives contact with physics.
Phase 04
Yard support
Fairing checks, finishes and sea-trial styling review. We sign off the yacht, not the drawing set.
Questions, answered
As early as possible — ideally before a shipyard or hull platform is chosen. Early involvement keeps every option open and usually shortens the project.
Yes. We are yard-independent and have delivered with eighteen builders across Europe and beyond. We adapt to the yard's process, materials and class society.
Absolutely — refits and restylings are a third of our work, from paint and glazing to full superstructure surgery, as with our Ahpo project.
