The challenge
Ahpo arrived as a beloved flagship with tired decks: a closed upper aft deck nobody used, a sun deck trapped in the nineties, and an interior palette the new owner described, kindly, as “someone else's memories”. The structure and systems were superb. Everything you see and touch was not.
Our approach
We opened the upper aft deck into a single indoor-outdoor salon with full-height sliding glass, re-planned the sun deck around a forward plunge pool and a proper cinema aft, and re-skinned the mast and funnel cowlings to sharpen a profile the world already knew.
Inside, 3,900 square metres of joinery, stone and fabric were replaced in fourteen months across two yards — the largest interior programme our studio has ever directed. The owner stepped aboard and found a new yacht wearing a familiar smile.
